Open the activation email we just sent you and click the link to confirm your license. This will activate your Ask Adam Pro installation.

Ask Adam Pro requires an active OpenAI account with available credits:

• Go to OpenAI Billing and add credits
• Even a $5-10 balance will keep your assistant running for months
• Set up auto-recharge if desired for uninterrupted service

Create a secure API key to connect Ask Adam to OpenAI:

• Visit OpenAI API Keys
• Click “Create new secret key” and give it a descriptive name
• Copy the key immediately (you won’t see it again)
• Store it securely – you’ll need it in WordPress

Connect your OpenAI account to Ask Adam Pro:

• Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
• Navigate to Ask Adam → Assistant Settings
• Paste your OpenAI API key in the designated field
• Choose your preferred AI model (GPT-4o recommended)
• Save your settings

Train Adam on your website content:

• Go to Ask Adam → Knowledge Base
• Add priority URLs (homepage, services, FAQ, policies)
• Enter your sitemap URL to index your entire site
• Click Crawl & Index Now to process content
• Click Embed Chunks Now to complete training

Verify everything works before going live:

• Use the Quick Test Console in Ask Adam settings
• Ask questions your visitors might ask
• Verify answers sound accurate and on-brand
• Enable the widget in Ask Adam → Widget Settings
• Test the live widget on your site
